The comprehensive post on New Moon in Gemini and the energies it brings for this new lunar cycyle...
An article about the current transits: Venus in Aries opposes Jupiter until May 27th 2017, Mercury is moving to Taurus and Mars is in Gemini...
The New Moon event occurs at 8:16am EDT* on April 26th, 2017 at 6°27’ Taurus, inspiring beginnings, transition, and Nature herself. Planting seeds of intention now doesn’t even do this energy justice... it’s so much more than that. All walks of tribes in Life have connected and assigned many varying legends and folklore to that of Nature and what they experienced through Nature, my favorite being that of the Native Americans and the earliest pagans and shamans. Native Americans believe that all of Nature is alive with Spirit, what others describe as Source, or Energy, or God. Interestingly, Spirit was/is also prescribed as medicine. Shamans and medicine wo/men view any disconnection as an imbalance with Nature, any "disease" a dis-ease in the balance of All That Is.

Mars has moved on to Gemini from Taurus and a retrograded Mercury has moved back to Aries from Taurus... Mercury rules Gemini, Mars rules Aries... do you see what I’m seeing? What you’re seeing is what astrologers call mutual reception, meaning that these two planets, each occuppying one another’s domicile rulerships become, by default, allies. In other words: (allow patience in my wordiness, hahaha) Mercury currently rules over Mars moving through Taurus, so, aggressive Mars in determined Taurus is ruled by, or motivated by, logical Mercury. Meaning?

After two days of lunar Piscean energy and a conjunction to Neptune, the ruler of the last two days moon, an awakening later tonight occurs as the moon moves in to Aries, recharged, revived, and ready to begin a fresh, new week. The next two days may be quite influential for you and you may very well possess a particular power within you. You’ll likely be uncompromising and assertive, allowing something of great importance to drive you forward, and closer to your goals. Feel this charge within you, it will speak to you; what is the message? You possess an inner hope now that will carry you through to your dreams, through obstacles, through drama and pain, through opportunities, too...
The sun has moved in to Taurus on April 20th, the sign of the Bull, and will remain in Taurus until May 20th. Venus rules Taurus, Aphrodite herself. This alone blesses Taureans, as well as Taurean energy, indubitably. Fancy and fancy-free, maybe, but Taurus is organic and all natural. Beauty in its most simple and sacred forms. And beautiful things don’t ever ask for attention. Beauty simply is. There are countless versions of Venusian mythology, and likewise, several versions of the mythology of Taurus. Allow me to tell you a version of Taurean lore... the one I like explains a bull named Cerus, not to be confused with Ceres, and Cerus was a powerfully intimidating bull. Cerus would trespass, village to village, and like a bull in a porcelain shop, townspeople were not very welcoming of the rowdy, obstinate bull. The legend goes on...
Taurus is the first sign of earth of the zodiac. Your Zodiac sign refers to the middle of spring when nature flourishes in peace. You’re a house number 2, ruled by Venus. It concerns domestic resources (gifts, talents, values...) And External (the body, money...). Your symbol is not the bull made fierce by the cloak of the matador but rather the bull, to get up, lonely under an oak covering of the eyes, the grass on the earth, the sky and the sun... You prefer silence to gossip, stability to the inconstancy, simplicity to the claim and your aversion to the tragedies is known to all. Do you like to take advantage of things in life: a ballad in nature, a massage, a good meal, the comfort of your home, take a nap in a big chair, the smell of freshly cut grass, the song of birds, the sound Of the waves, the smell of the flowers... Anything that puts your senses. We’re pushing you around? This makes you mad so you like to go at your own pace.
Responsibilities can take over now, you may even prefer to be alone, as the Waning Gibbous moon has just moved on in to Capricorn. Even if it’s not your preference, life circumstances may actually create delays or inconveniences or random circumstances to prevent you from working or dealing or interacting with others...
Venus is direct! Hallelujah! Holy Buddha! Now what? Back on January 30th Venus entered the pre-shadow phase at 26° Pisces, which is exactly where she is stationing direct. Back in January Venus was making a harsh connection to Saturn and she was yesterday, too, except yesterday she held hands with Chiron. Both of these are very intense, and quite appropriate, despite how potentially painful they may be for you. What this means is that whatever was occurring for you then is likely providing you a very painful, piercing flashback for you now, and possibly even through May 18th, when Venus exits the post-shadow phase at 13° Aries.

What’s the use of astrology if you’re unable to apply it in your life from day to day? Honestly. Let’s make astrology personal to you, shall we!? Let’s start with the moon and where it is from day to day. You’ll keep a journal of your moods-- in particular, but also your routines-- and if or how they’re working for you; intimacy issues; and day-to-day comings and goings overall. Also, the beginnings and endings of things. In a months time you’ll be able to look back on your month and associate each day with a zodiacal placement.
The Full Moon event in Libra at 21°33' on April 11th at 6:09am UT* will occur among the ongoing hum that is the cardinal t-square energies between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto-- the grand cross, if you include Vesta- triggering especially both Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries.
Jupiter plays a large part in the energy of this Full Moon...
MONDAY April 10th: Moon in Libra (Moon conjunct Jupiter, square Pluto)
TUESDAY April 11th: Full Moon in Libra (moon opposite uranus, Moon sextile Saturn)
WEDNESDAY April 12th: Moon in Scorpio (Opposite Mercury, trine Neptune)
THURSDAY April 13th: Moon sextile Pluto, Moon opposite Mars
FRIDAY April 14th: Sun in 24 degrees Aries conjunct Uranus Moon enters Sagittarius(Moon trine Venus)
SATURDAY April 15th: Moon in Sagittarius (square Neptune, sextile Jupiter)
SUNDAY April 16th: Moon enters Capricorn (Venus in 26 Pisces sextile Mars in Taurus) Moon trine Uranus, Moon trine Sun, Moon square Venus. Moon conjunct Saturn.
It's that time of year again, folks! The Lord of Karma SATURN stations RETROGRADE. When Saturn retrogrades, times of limitation, restriction, anxiety and even fear (re)introduce themselves. It is during the previous months in these cycles which you will have been dealing with any issues involving your duties and responsibilities as they relate to your dependents and career that Saturn will focus in on...
Venus is still retrograde, but has now moved through the 0° Aries point, which is the beginning of all creation, the very first degree of the zodiac, and back to 29° Pisces— somewhat of an incredible, however daunting, experience, as the asteroid Pallas Athene was passing through this exact point of degree, from 29° Pisces to 0° Aries, at the same exact time.
This is a pretty big deal, folks, because it just doesn't happen that often at all. I mean, the very first degree of the zodiac, folks! Are you feeling this shift!?
The month of April, continuing on in to May, features Mars making a square connection to Neptune; this energy should motivate you to be brutally honest with yourself. To be in the moment, fully. Honestly. To shed any and all expectations of yourself, even if held only by yourself. This energy should conjure a spirit from within yourself that knows only Now. Allow this. The t-square between Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto ends, roughly mid-month. This is a good time to reflect on everything you've accomplished this far and know that by simply being aware of your fears is sometimes enough to learn from why you fear what you do in the first place. Taking away this power allows you greater control, thereby offering you the means in which to grow and overcome...

SUNDAY, April 09: Moon enters Libra (opposite Venus, and squares Saturn)
Jupiter squaring Pluto exactly at 19° Libra and Capricorn, respectively, which refers to, again, that metaphorical hum you’re hearing in the background. The hum is something you’ll hear in your peripheral throughout the year, however, these exact connections will offer revisions, reflections, and reconsiderations. The first exact Jupiter square Pluto was in November 2016 and the last one will be in August 2017. Jupiter, our jovial planet of expansion and "yes yes yes" arm wrestles with Pluto, our intense planet of transformation, yes, but also, ultimatum...
This New Moon inspires newness, everywhere, all around. It is the beginning of a new lunar year! You feel refreshed, revived, and reinvigorated, and you’ll likely be wanting to begin something, initiate something with someone, or create something brand new and all yours. This New Moon event is connected closely to Venus retrograde in Aries, only days after her inferior conjunction at 5 degrees. This suggests that a new frame of mind is necessary now, a new perspective, especially in consideration to love, finances, and anything that makes your heart skip a beat.
MONDAY: Moon enters Aries (Mars at 12 degrees of Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces)
TUESDAY: Moon conjuncts Mercury (Moon square Pluto, Moon opposite Jupiter)

THURSDAY: Moon continues in Taurus (Jupiter at 19 degrees of Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn)
FRIDAY: Moon enters Gemini (Mercury enters Taurus)
SATURDAY: Moon continues in Gemini (Moon sextile Sun, trine Jupiter)
SUNDAY: Moon continues in Gemini (sextile Mercury, Uranus, and opposites Saturn)
To continue from the other day’s post about Mercury joining the t-square/grand cardinal cross energies... The ongoing t-square between Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto, which I referred to in Astrology of 2017 synopsis as the "hum in the background" you’ll hear throughout the entire year, is a mixture of energy that’s equivalent to a dramatic dynamic of push and pull, both mindfully motivating and chaotically challenging, and ultimately could potentially deplete you of everything, yet simultaneously create the most fulfilling influence you’ve ever known...
The why's, how's, when's, and where's are brewing, possibly even the what's, but more than likely you're aware of what by now. Lucky for you, these answers will be available for you, but you'll still want more. Insatiable, you're wanting, hell-- needing- to know everything. About everything. Also, small talk is not appreciated now. You want to experience the hard, raw truths of all the taboo matters...
Aries is the first sign of Zodiacal light series evokes the early spring. The Sun here in Aries is one of the most powerful positions for a central orb. It gives great heat, radiates vitality, courage, and ample strength. The Aries Sun sign is CARDINAL when the sun is one of the four corners of the Zodiac. For Aries here as the far East as he can go. For here Aries is rules by the planet Mars, mars the willful, Aries is in analogy to the 1st house... concerned with me, how we represent ourselves out into the world, decisions, areas of behavior.
When Venus, the planet of love, goes retrograde a different sort of disorder occurs within our relationships; all partnerships, love interests, and relationships on all levels, and the feelings these connections conjure are fundamentally frenzied and feverishly fuzzy and freakishly frazzled. However, because Venus is so generous, she provides an antidote to the fuzzy fever and heavy haze of emotional hangover. All the emotional contradictions, passions and confusions are all auspicious antibiotic to introduce new connections, and more importantly, new ways of making connections, as well as keeping them. Please note, the relationship between you and your self is a perfect place to begin.

SUNDAY, March 26th: Moon in Pisces (sextile Mars, and Pluto and conjuncts Neptune)
Back in early December of 2016, the sun was conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius at 18°, beginning a new cycle of innocence upon this brave new frontier you’re facing. If you’re able to navigate through the obstacles confronting you now, the sun will oppose Saturn in June from Gemini, which will offer a peak of fortune and fun for you to enjoy. If you continue to avoid your reality now and the lessons before you needing learned, fun and fortune will not be a possible outcome through the opposition. keep reading: Sun Square Saturn - Balance between Give and Take, Idealism and Realism
How you communicate this active inspiration may be much more forceful than usual, more clear, to the point, minus the details, and likely your volume will be much louder! Aries folks say what they mean, mean what they say and leave little left for interpretation or wonder. It’s rare to walk away from an Aries soul and ask yourself, "I wonder what s/he meant...?" No. Not likely. Aries is brutally honest. Unrelentingly so. And with this, you also likely never question where an Aries was intending to go with their words. You’ll know.
I’ve asked you several times this month to ask yourself what is real and what is not and to consider what these answers mean to you. Now is the time to really swallow those answers and allow them to digest... the Full Moon is in Virgo, after all. Digestion is sort of Virgo’s "thing" *wink* Not to overwhelm you with some long winded medical explanation about what digestion involves, allow me to share simply that digestion begins with the breaking down of food, of nutrition. Now is the time to begin breaking down and chewing, metaphorically, all of the influences in your life that provide you nourishment, be it physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Because these influences are literally used by every fiber of your being, because thoughts are things, folks. Everything comes back around, doesn’t it? You are what you eat, so, swallow nourishment. Not garbage.

Mars moves in to tame and tethered Taurus on March 9th, from aggressive Aries until April 21st, 2017 slowing you down a bit in terms of bulldozing toward what you want and pursuing your desires, rather, patiently and with a persistence and practicality. Several Taurean ideas: earthy/earthly passions; physicality; slow and steady wins the race; permanence; sensual pleasures; possessiveness; commitment; steadfastness; worthy, valuable, and accomplished; efficiency. Taurus prefers to touch, see, and claim rather than feel, imagine, or wonder, as Taurus is of the earthy element, a solid and stable security is one that can be stood on. Taurus isn’t idealistic or hopeful, a daydreamer, or even very wishful. What is, is, and what isn’t, isn’t. Simple.
The last time Venus was retrograde was in July 2015, at 0° Virgo and moved back through Leo and the last time she was retrograde in the sign of Aries was in March of 2009. When Venus is retrograde, she is also closest to Earth. Venus retrogrades approximately every two years and these periods of time are important times to know, especially in regard to relations of love and money, both of which are Venusian themed ideas. Venusian ideas embody everything we assign value to; love, our relationships with one another in love, marriage, commitment, devotions, romance, romantic love, people and places of beauty, comfort, self worth and esteem, abundance, and finances in general, including investments, collateral, savings, interest, and bonds, stocks, and 401K. It is time now to evaluate what you value. For real.

March may find ways of forcing you to moderate your impulsivity, if you've been so inclined by reminding you of your responsibilities. Especially if you've been denying these obligations or dismissing them altogether. Or, it may be unbelievably easy to take charge and call shots and portray yourself as the leader. Either way, surrounding yourself with strength and good, positive energy is useful to you now and will help you as you continue to develop stamina toward your very ambitious goals. Carry on, be grateful, and show love through dedication, perseverance, and unshakeable gumption.

On February 26, 2017 at 2:58am UT* the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Pisces occurred at 8°12', blending in to the stellium of Piscean energy, with Mercury, Neptune, Chiron, Pallas Athene and the south node, while Mars and Uranus connect exactly at 21° Aries.
While Venus and Mars are in Aries, with Uranus, adding much of an impatience to the somewhat standstill happenings occurring in your world now, the Piscean energies continue to blur the edges and slow down the movements as the t-square between the conjunction, Jupiter and Pluto remain buzzing in the background.
This eclipse will linger until August 21st, 2017 and is wrapping up movements since the last one on September 1st, 2016.
Monday: February 27th - Mars in Aries 22 degrees opposite Jupiter in 22 degrees Libra (Moon in Pisces sextile Pluto, square Saturn)

Friday: March 3rd - Moon continues in Taurus ( Moon sextile Sun, trine Pluto)
Saturday: March 4th - Moon in Gemini (Mercury conjunct Neptune in 11 degrees Pisces)
Sunday: March 5th - Moon in Gemini (Mars in Aries 26 degrees trine Saturn in 26 Sagittarius) Moon square Sun, Mercury, Neptune)
Have you ever tuned out to the beat of a song or the lull of someone’s voice or the buzz of some type of movement going on about and all around you, consuming your senses and swallowing your parameters, allowing you to transport, mentally, hell, perhaps even metaphysical-ly, surrendering to the awe that is: a daydream? I love to daydream. I do it often. I do it well. And I have an underhanded advantage; Mercury was in Pisces when I was born. Mercury, our quick-witted winged messenger, aloof and contrary, logical and stir crazy, represents the way we communicate, think, and learn. Sometimes even our earliest conditioning can be understood through where our Mercury is found. Where Mercury is will likely provide a cornucopia of detail and meticulous verbiage of information.
One would imagine-- now that the sun is in Piscean waters once again and the New Moon/solar eclipse will occur at the end of the month in Pisces- that the energy around you and vibe in the air would be calming, pacifying and dreamy... but that is simply not the case. Back in October our planet of aggression, Mars, connected with our planet of destruction, Pluto at 15° Capricorn. Something happened. You likely remember... If you didn’t experience a breakdown, as my descriptive choices of words above infer, you likely were rewarded with an empowering breakthrough, as Mars is also the planet of instinct and follow through, Pluto the planet of transformation and change.

The first degree of Pisces represents a spiritual commerce, conveniently I feel, symbolizing the Waterbearer plunging in to the great sea, ultimately, to both cleanse and sanction the coming of the Fish. The sun has now moved in to Pisces from Aquarius this weekend, announcing the beginning of Nature’s welcoming of an approaching spring while slowly drawing the days of winter to a close. Pisces represents two fish swimming in opposite directions, bound by a cord. The dualism here is one of weakening principle, because the fish strain and fight against each other, struggling to be free, rather than supporting each other’s motion in collaborative effort.

There’s a lot going on this week and the next and throughout the closing out of the month. How are you feeling? What are you thinking?-- keeping in mind that you may have to put your thoughts to the side for now... So, allow me to ask you once more-- how are you feeling? Do you have an action plan?, even if that plan is simply to say "yes"?, that this action plan is fueled by your feelings rather than your thoughts or reasoning... Are you able to feel your way through the day?

If an eclipse can teach us anything it would be that the only constant in this life is change. How did the eclipse yesterday change and/or rearrange the details in your life? And furthermore, if you think these changes and rearranges should be as final as they were abrupt, think again. It's only just beginning... Mars is charging forward in Aries, his domicile, and therefore strengthened and exhilarated, and will trigger the Jupiter/Pluto energies, and finally, join forces with Uranus by the end of the month. Expect big, dynamic change.

Mercury has moved in to Aquarius, the waterbearer, a fixed energy, airy in nature. What does this mean? Well, it happens every year, and it's always this time of year, either following or leading the sun. Right now, Mercury is a bit behind the sun, but will catch up in Pisces on March 6th, and will then quickly begin leading once more. Mercury will be in Aquarius until February 25th. Yes, you've guessed it••• we will endure another Piscean stellium, with the sun, Mercury, Neptune and Chiron, inspiring further reflection, healing, and daydreaming...

The Full Moon/lunar eclipse occurs at 12:32am UT, February 11th* and falls at 22°28’ Leo/Aquarius, and will adroitly demand of you to let go of anything, or anyone, no longer inspiring light, love, or livelihood in your life in order to make room for new opportunities for just that••• light, love, and livelihood. This Lunar Eclipse will have a long-term effect on you for a minimum 6 months after it occurs...
Jupiter is Retrograde from February 6th, till June 9th, 2017. Jupiter retrogrades are a regular cycle, as everything is, occurring approximately every 13 months and lasting about 4 months. Jupiter retrogrades represent a time of philosophical reflection and/or spiritual introspection. Through the spring season of 2016, before Jupiter moved retrograde, you may be/have been dealing with larger issues involving growth and development, happiness and success. This is largely because anywhere Jupiter is found, what we find is large, so, wherever Jupiter is found to be transiting your natal chart is where you can expect to find specific growth.

February will see you glorified in your efforts. Eclipse season is here! Forward movement and new beginnings are happening—look around. Eclipses are game changers, and you will find that if you're walking the wrong path you will be abruptly transplanted to the correct path, however painful, however inconvenient, however not a part of your plan it is. Eclipses can be abrasive and sudden, but completely necessary.

Mars has moved in to Aries. And Venus joins Mars in Aries on February 4th, 2017. Do you feel this? Again, the Piscean stellium energy is breaking apart for more urgency, more doing, more more more. We are no longer inclined to reflect, to think, to consider, to ponder what our next move should be, or will be. We’re now making those steps and moves toward our preponderances and decisions. Mars represents action and intention while Venus represents what it is we feel when we want what we want. These two planetary movements will inevitably inspire you to consider your own actions, the actions of those you love, and the actions these take on the relationship itself, whether it’s new and developing or tried and true.

The New Moon event at 8° Aquarius occurs on January 28th, 2017 at 12:06am UT* and it will make no aspects to anything, but occur isolated, outside of all other planetary activities, sure to inspire an impact, an urge to break away. This is the first New Moon of 2017, and if you live your life by the lunar calendar, it also represents the marking of a new year. And how deliciously appropriate, as this New Moon itches below the surface to emerge, to begin, to step one foot out beyond the other in order to realize and fully understand what it means to live for oneself, by oneself.
Mercury sextile Neptune - MONDAY, January 23rd
Moon square Mars - TUESDAY, January 24th
Venus conjunct Chiron - WEDNESDAY, January 25th

The Virgoan moon opposes the Piscean activity that has, and will continue to, gently demand you actively participate in healing hurts, mending old wounds finally, and to confront anything you’ve repressed. This process, despite how truly painful it is, will continue to be, and will always be, is to your truest advantage. You have the celestial comforts of Neptune, in Pisces it is his natural and preferred placement; Venus truly shines here in regard to love, healing, tenderness, and delicacies supporting an ability to feel through grief, resentments, and pain; Chiron has been here for some time and has been really burrowing through some of the issues and memories we tend to put out of our mind for the sake of our mental health because they are simply to painful to embrace... when, if we only processed these things immediately, slowly, and truly, we wouldn’t need to repress. At all.
The Full Moon occurred this morning before dawn on the west coast, at 22° Cancer, and falling in to place just so with Jupiter and Uranus to create a grand cross of cardinality. Remember, cardinal energies need to initiate, begin, and a restlessness to change the scenery. What’s more, is that this is the first full moon of the year, the wolf’s moon, and the synchronizations occurring still tonight are seriously... Wow. Just wow.
The sun, at 21° Capricorn, and shining upon us a bit longer by the day, will make a square connection to Uranus, our planet of awakening, also at 21° but in Aries, inspiring new direction, sudden surprises, and/or unexpected advantage, if only you're willing to go with the flow.
Please know, too, that all planets are moving directly now, symbolizing a celestial green light in a way, in efforts supported by beginnings, initiations, and making your move.
Get very comfortable with this t-square because it will engage you, provoke you, and liberate you throughout the entire year.
Get to know where exactly in your chart, and therefore your life, that this t-square energy is playing out, as you will be more apt to focus your specific, personal energies more appropriately.
However you choose to respond, react, or rebel-- to both the t-square and the green light of the sun/Uranian transition- you will notice that at least one major thing in your life-- be it an idea, a structure, foundation, person, position, responsibility, role, expectation, need, influence, you get the idea- will shift, change, or otherwise alter in a major way.
Don't worry about distractions••• you'll notice.

Mercury turned direct this morning, and currently back in Sagittarius at 28°, and will be back in Capricorn on Thursday.
Although I noticed, through folks and friends alike in my life, that much of what we rely on, even in a most practical sense, took a hit, broke down, or required something such as maintenence or upgrade, that this retrograde phase was mostly conducive in relation to preparation, foresight, and quite perfect for reflection.
That's truly the intention our winged messenger holds when pulling his pranks••• to widen your scope and to make you think, to prepare you for anything.
Continue reflecting, while soaking in the tub or sweating in the sauna, and writing down your dreams. It will be through this dreamy reflection that you could see more clearly the why's, the when's, the what's, and the how's you're struggling with. And where you go from here... is truly up to you.
If you weren't feeling the edgy precipice of the new year, ya'll, you will now, as the annual sun/Pluto conjunction occurs at 17° Capricorn.
Like an open doorway, or even a door being held open for you, someone patiently waiting, maybe even a perfect stranger, holding this door of opportunity and promise open to you, just when you thought you'd have to balance everything you're carrying and open the door yourself... the universe is waiting, for you, smiling... how absolutely lovely is that‽
If something has been slowly eating away at you, for some time, expect some much needed insight into your potential solutions. Or maybe you are in search of an answer? Expect to stumble upon the answer you seek. Sometimes the clarity is so intense, when the sun connects with Pluto, it knocks you over a bit.
Nothing is as it was, even a day ago, and everything, you must believe, is exactly as it should be.
The darknesses in your life are being given much-needed light.
The questions you're asking, answered.
The personal Truth you seek is speaking to you.
I like to think that this annual conjunction occurs directly after new year, so very appropriately, to nudge us a bit more forcefully toward our truth, our visions, our dreams. This celestial fresh start. This celestial restart button, if necessary. Or a celestial alarm clock, for others.
Because we get so distracted through the year, so overwhelmed by the workings and grindings of the everyday basics of life, that (un)naturally, our dreams are put to the side. Sometimes, something really intense is necessary to snap us out of the deep sleep we allow after we've been worn so thin. But once you embrace this celestial upheaval... you are immediately restored. And this is the essence of a sun/Pluto conjunction.
You will not settle for less, for false, for compromised, for broken, for anything other than exactly what you need.
Go boldly, my friends, bravely in to your wild unknowns.
She will take a swan dive into the transcendent watery depths of compassion, sensitivity, and empathy, and will swim like a fish until February 3rd, backstroking through boundaries and stigmas and holding her breath under water while absorbing each and every feeling being felt by each and every other human around you...
Do you feel this shift?
Maybe you're feeling this by feeling more 'in tune' with your own feelings? Or noticing those of another, being 'in tune' to him/her? It's normal to romanticize things now. It's normal now, too, to be, or feel, emotionally open, available, or vulnerable. You want to feel.
You may be more willing to widen your parameters of acceptance in terms of others, and what they consider "baggage" to be. More willing to absorb, understand, or even••• empathize.
You may be more willing, through January, to feel beyond your own feelings, and to feel the deep and bottomless and very very real feelings of someone else. Allow this. If anything, you'll learn something; something about him/her, maybe even something magical about yourself.
Most importantly, you'll learn something about... I'm gonna take a stab here, and go out on a limb, and suggest that you'll learn a little something about exactly what you're in need of knowing.
And you simply cannot learn this on your own.
The New Moon occurs at 7° Capricorn and connect with Mercury, in conjunction by retrograde, either late late the 28th or very early the 29th, and it is, let’s say, an imaginative, sort of dreamy, if not philosophical, way to bid farewell to the year of 2016. Mercury is the trickster, a messenger of the gods, a conduit to each and every realm or world, welcome everywhere and loved by few, a god of many masks. This New Moon event is initiating in energy, as Capricorn is cardinal in nature, however the moon is not comfortable in Capricorn, and with such a tight connection to Mercury in retrograde... your initiations may be met with, or created by, anxiety or worry. This type of initiated movement could be helpful in some ways, productive ways or mechanical means, as, it is movement, after all. Still, worry and anxiety are often impacted heavily, overall, by a largely inadequate amount of information, further, misinformation, yes?
This month of December began a brand new way of life. A life unknown until now. Sure, this newness has possibly been surviving only below the surface for some time, yet, just as the light begins to shine a bit brighter each day from Solstice, for even a moment more each day, there is absolutely no way of denying it any longer. This new way of living. The manner in which you consolidate your year should be truthful, empathetic, and genuinely well-intentioned, for the imprints you leave as you embark upon the new frontier of the year 2017 will remain to be seen for years beyond.

Mars is approaching an opposition to the North Node at 6° Pisces on December 27th, while Neptune is at 9° Pisces, meaning that a conjunction between Mars and Neptune exactly will occur here soon, in fact, on the last day of the year. It was earlier this year, in late October, that Neptune was exactly opposite the North Node. One could consider that this opposition would be exact again sometime soon, as Neptune’s retrograde phases would allow for this, however, the North Node, in 2017, will move beyond Virgo and in to Leo, as the North Node moves backward. This rules out another Neptunian opposition to the North Node for some time, which may be to our advantage, as we’ve perhaps made some irreversible mistakes through this one.

Winter Solstice, in the Northern Hemisphere, represents the season we now call winter, what the pagans referred to as yule, and the longest and darkest night of the year. A time of year when the sun surrenders for only a day or two, metaphorically, and then begins to grow in strength, day by day, until Summer Solstice. Solstice begins the very moment the sun moves from Sagittarius to Capricorn, symbolically grounding the visions and ideals we idealistically envisioned through the days of Sagittarian sun to something manifested, birthed to a physical realm, as something we can see and touch.

Mars has moved in to Pisces and will be in these crystal clear poseidon waters until January 27th, meeting along the way, the god of the seas himself, Neptune. Seeking truth, especially your own personal Truth is to be expected, as is going above and beyond for others. To actively give yourself over to something much larger than yourself. And I don’t mean religion, specifically, unless, for you, it may be appropriate. Otherwise, simply a sense of selflessness in some area of your life is what this transition may mean for you. However, your actions may be behind-the-scenes rather than out loud.
I would like to remind you that Mercury stationed at 15° Capricorn, just one degree apart from Pluto, and will eventually connect with Pluto at the end of January. But, allow yourselves a moment here to consider the symbology this offers...
From now until the end of January, it makes sense to me, that you will encounter many details, surfacing from deep, dark places, needing or wanting light.
Some of the things I've been reading this morning from other astrologers mention watching what you say now, and yes, I agree.
But, do I?
Sometimes things need to be said. This, for instance. In no way am I attempting to better my own image by disagreeing or arguing with another's views of the stars. I value all considerations. But yes, if I were pointing this out in an attempt to insult or exploit, then yes, that is exactly what those astrologers had in mind.
You see the clear difference.
So, allow me to further my point, that some things need to be said. Important things. Things that have been harnessed so deeply within or down below the surface. Feelings you ignore or repress or avoid owning up to because of whatever reason without ever considering what kind of power you're assigning these feelings you repress. Sometimes simply shining light upon a feeling you're ashamed of feeling or a thought you feel odd about thinking only needs to be heard to finally be relinquished. *poof!*
By sharing you're stripping the power of whatever threatens you, scares you, or provokes you.
Consider this. Maybe you're not ready to share, and that's alright. But please, consider the light, and the lightness you'll feel over the heavy burden of whatever you're hiding weighs.
But again, do be mindful of this-- whatever you share now WILL be heard.
To think-- that for only three to four times a year for roughly three weeks- a large majority of the population freak in preparation for retrogrades involving the winged messenger due to murky, murmured, misinformed malarkey. Yet, when Venus moves retrograde and potentially devastates the solidarity and security of relationships, or Mars, naturally bombarding all efforts of forward movement... nope. No mind. No matter. It’s incredible to me. It’s curious. So, naturally, it urges me to investigate... And this is what I’ve come up with••• think about it this way:
Our internal twins seek out the moment at hand. The "Truth of the Now" of it all. Nothing more. This Full Moon event will urge you to delve deeper inside yourself, first and most importantly, for what you seek in the world at large. For the Truth of your Now. What is the current weather forecast in your life at this very moment? You may need to ask yourself some things... these may be seemingly emotional, however, think of your answers in a most logical manner.

This could really be a fun day, if you're willing to be flexible and to go with the flow of it all. With Uranus in the mix, anything is likely, as long as its shock value shakes everything up just enough to create a smidge of chaos... because your idea of fun may not be what the universe will intend to be fun. In fact, it very likely is not.
With this transit, somewhat fleeting in effect, the sun connecting with Uranus, I always recommend embracing change willfully by taking a different, even new, route to work. Do something unusual, something a step out of your way; bring your lunch if you usually go out or enjoy your lunch with friends from work if you usually eat alone.
This is also the type of transit-- depending upon where it falls in your chart- that conjures those forces beyond your comprehension, resulting in surprise, or being taken off guard, such as a phone call from your ex or a text from that one that got away, or from a friend you haven't heard from in awhile... you could be called forth to start something or even dared to do something you wouldn't ordinarily do.
It's usually all in good fun, unless, of course, you behave so rashly and forget that there may, indeed, be a tomorrow, and consequences. So, do be mindful of your 'vincibility! *wink*

"feel" is much different than "think," and this is what you’ll need to understand until January 4th, as Venus has moved in to the sign of Aquarius and is currently applying a connection to meet up soon with Father Time himself-- Saturn. Venus, alone, does not prefer to get too comfortable in Aquarius, quite simply because Aquarius won’t allow it. Aquarius prefers to remain detached emotionally, enjoys freedom, and needs to be identified as an individual, most importantly. However, through these weeks until January 4th, as Venus makes herself as comfortable as allowable, you will see the building of something, again, as she moves toward a connection with Saturn.

Today may be looking bleak, my friends. Cold. Dark. Lonely. However, I’m having a fabulously awakening experience. Perhaps because I’m aware of this transit and therefore embracing the divine perfection of what is? Who knows. It sounds good. Old Father Time is catching the exposing brightness of the sun’s rays as the sun moves in for the annual conjunction, this year at 18° Sagittarius. It’s normal to feel a little chilly about it. It’s the time of year to be exhausted. To feel heavy, old, or grumpy. Blah....
Venus is moving in the last degrees of Capricorn, void of course if you will, unaspected yesterday and still today, and will move in to Aquarius by tomorrow morning. The twenty-ninth degree is said to be a special degree, connected to an auspicious-ness of sorts, spiritually, mystically, astrologically speaking. The twenty-ninth degree of Capricorn represents opportunity-- my favorite word- assigned by Marc Edmund Jones, suggesting that through each degree of struggle and success one accomplishes through the plight and purpose of Capricornian wisdom, an opportunity is born of you.
YOUR HONESTY IS PARAMOUNT, YOUR WORDS HOLDING WEIGHT, AND YOUR INFLUENCE HAVING MUCH CHARISMA Read a new article by Jamie VanZuuk about Edgar Allan Poe, his famous "The Raven", how it relates to the current astrology weather and its main message: Mercury in Capricorn Conjunct Pluto
Prepare yourselves to slow down, both your thoughts and your decision-making, for methodically structuring these in practical, resourceful ways will be preferred while Mercury moves through the earth sign of Capricorn. Capricorn prefers gathering information in parts over being bombarded, and then having to pick apart what’s necessary and what is not. Capricorn is a thinker. Like the statue, The Thinker, these folks are seemingly made of stone; impossibly patient, a bit foreboding, and hella stubborn. It’s not so much even that Capricorn is patient-- they expect you to be. In fact, a stark impatience overcomes them when dealing with, let’s say, an idiot.

The month of December is a beginning. A beginning to something you've been preparing for for some time now, albeit subconsciously or completely consciously, it's time. You've been curious, if even only in the back of your mind... curiouser and curiouser you've grown. It's time. There are several celestial formations occurring in the heavens; Jupiter opposing Uranus-- exact the 26th, Jupiter squaring Pluto-- which was exact November 24th, and Saturn trining Uranus-- exact the 24th and Mars with Venus will share the month in connection to Jupiter. It's time to make things happen.
The New Moon is at 7°43’ Sagittarius on November 29th at 12:18pm UT* and things are about to get... sticky. These energies could provoke moments of potential scandal *gasp!* Suspicious scenarios, suspect or (un)solicitous behaviors between you, your lover and/or partner, combined with potential feelings of paranoia, pining, pain, provocation or power plays are probable. And most definitely alliteration, hahaha Or, you could just be faced with an uneasy, unexpected, and unwanted confrontation to look at your relationships in a new, more raw and vulnerable way, sacrificing a sense of security and inevitably packing on the plight of "what now?"

A major shift in energy is coming for you whether you’re ready or not. This shift is a result of the energy between Jupiter in Libra applying Saturn in Sagittarius while opposing Uranus in Aries, will amp up motivations for relations, connections, and opportunities while, in turn, Saturn, too, will make a friendly connection to Uranus, strengthening the potential for stable foundations among the ambitious chaos around you and yours. These fun and festive transits will be the background music to each and every day in your life through the month of December, and beyond... Some advice?

Jupiter square Pluto is one of the major planetary transit of late 2016 and for most of 2017. Whatever you take on now, and through the majority of 2017, you will likely become consumed by, so make sure it's something that's worth your time and energy. Since this transit is so powerful, we’ve prepared a separate article on this topic. Please read it here: Jupiter Square Pluto Transit in 2016 and 2017 - Find Your Balance
Easy-peasy, nice and easy there, friends, everything will work itself out... in the mean time, feel your way through the week, at least until this weekend, glimpse your reaction when you are thwarted, or when someone sounds less than pleasant toward you. Mercury is exactly conjunct Saturn today at 16° Sagittarius; be on the alert.
If you're able to feel, notice, and respond rather than react, especially if you're receiving (less than pleasant) information from a third party messenger, be kind.
Remember, Mercury is the messenger of the gods, and although he's snuggling up to cold, hard Saturn, Saturn is making nice with Jupiter, so... it may just unravel itself in your favor. Patience is key now.
You may also notice that you lack the words needed to convey your thoughts. Again, be patient. It may be a blessing in disguise.

The sun moves unaspected today through the very first degrees of Sagittarius, only to dramatize the endless differences between the scorpion and the archer, such as, most importantly, a willingness to be open, out loud and brutally honest regarding what you want after thirty odd days of waiting for others to guess, or somehow be able to telepathically communicate these details...
This movement from Scorpio, ruled by Mars, traditionally, and Pluto, after discovery, moves also a focus on to Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius; Jupiter is applying an opposition to Uranus, meanwhile squaring Pluto in Capricorn, creating a t-square energy, the void of the square being in Cancer.
The t-square is cardinal in nature, as Aries, Libra and Capricorn are all cardinal signs, which means that the celestial traffic lights are blinking green. Cardinal energy asks us to begin, to initiate, to start. As Pluto squares both Jupiter and Uranus, despite Jupiter gaining power through the sun, Pluto will have the last word. This suggests that you have a pretty good idea, if not proof, of what you're capable of in terms of rearranging your ducks from a row to a square, triangle, or circle.
Because soon enough, Jupiter working with Uranus will rearrange your ducks before too long, you might as well be a willing participant. It'll be more fun, and Jupiter is all about fun.
And because the void falls in the sign of Cancer, this tells you that understanding what you have to give and where your heart is are important, and as the celestial energy is not currently occupying this sector of your life, you will need to work a bit harder in acquiring a balance. For example, as Cancer rules the 4th house of home, family and inner experiences, through these upcoming changes you're on the brink of making, you'll want to make sure these changes are in line with what your heart can endure, or your interests and your investments may begin to consume the other in time.
Traditionally, Cancer claims the 4th while Capricorn holds the 10th house of professional ambitions, so this will be of focus for you, however, where these two signs are in your own birth chart is where you'll feel a real push.
Heads up: Venus is also moving through Capricorn and will meet up with Pluto at 15° by the 24th; you'll feel a certain draw to others, for better or worse, and it will be important to feel-- really feel- whatever feelings are being exchanged. Remember, Pluto wants the last word, and Pluto will offer you charm, magnetism, and an energy all your own in order to get it. Beware that the words you speak or actions you provoke will have more intensity, more power, and more potential to destroy than usual.
However, if your words come from your heart... you're sure to be heard.
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?" This quote is from "Alice in Wonderland", from the scene where Alice is daydreaming aloud to her cat, Dinah, while lounging in the daisies before she falls asleep and meets the white rabbit with a wristwatch. This very machination of reality describes most effectively the energy derived from Neptune stationing direct. And very soon, Neptune will be fully moving directly at 9° Pisces, which so happens to be the very degree the Virgoan New Moon/solar eclipse fell upon on September 1st... planets are quite powerful through stationing phases in and of itself, but when a powerful recent event occurred upon the exact same degree of something powerful currently occurring... well... it is definitely noteworthy.
Read the full post on Neptune Stations Direct - Universal Selflessness
Only a day or two ago you were faced with obstacles and obstructions from views of insight, and now you are greeted with opportunity and good news and green lights.
It's funny how the universe can sometimes work like a traffic signal-- testing your spirit with a stop sign, building your spirit with a green light- ultimately, the way it all falls, is so frequently the solution you were seeking through the wreckage.
Today is a good day to ask for what you need, even if it means asking someone higher up on the totem pole or those in authority positions. Or, just simply, asking the universe.
Give it some time, but you are bound to see some results by your requests. This said, Mercury squares Neptune today, so any information you receive-- or share, for that matter- may be muddled in meaning, invite you to be paranoid or overly sensitive, or even be disappointing.
Also, you may be faced with options; it's not an ideal day to make decisions.
It is an auspicious day to daydream, to wander, to lollygag. Wake up your inner child today. Keep the "grown up" responsibilities for another day, as you'll find whatever you commit to or decide upon today will likely unravel itself in time and consequently become tangled, twisted, or otherwise tainted. It's your turn to wave the stop sign.
The moon is busy in Gemini for the afternoon before moving in to cozy Cancer later tonight, making efforts in communication easier, lighter, and welcome before becoming too sensitive, especially considering its opposition to sullen Saturn.
When anything comes in to contact with Saturn, be it transiting Saturn or natal Saturn, a difficult, stifling even, type of energy usually eludes you like a concrete fog and this effect triples when it's the moon.
The moon represents our emotions, our feelings, and our sense of security. And Saturn reminds us that security can be taken and/or compromised, feelings can be hurt and often are if we expect too much, and emotions are not valid or, much less, reliable... just to give a light example.
Wow. Talk about raining on a parade...
So, quite possibly, this transit offered you some hard information, the type of information you're never quite ready for? Or, just simply many inconveniences. Saturnine setbacks along your way forward, including but not limited to those types of hang-ups such as limitations, blocked this or thats, or boundaries being trespassed or disregarded altogether. Obstacles, runarounds, and people standing in the way to tell you "no" in one way or another could be potential manifestations of this energy, as well.
Yet, as Jupiter continues moving closer to 'ole stubborn Saturn, your saturnine setbacks and runarounds should be only temporary, and not needing/requiring further upset, as Jupiter simply cannot say "no" for too long.
The much anticipated super moon Full Moon in Taurus occurs Monday, November 14th at 1:52pm UT* at 22°38’ and both the sun and moon will make connections with Chiron, the wounded healer. Whatever Taurus needs, Scorpio overcomes. Just as whatever is gained will ultimately be lost. What lives will eventually die. Yes, these are intensely dramatic, however, it is by these measures we inherently desire, shamelessly yearn, finally achieve, eventually lose, and so painfully grieve.

The North and South Nodes are stationing retrograde today, as they usually do... The big deal here is that the last time both of these were retrograded together AND CONJUNCT EXACTLY, WITHIN ONE DEGREE OF ANOTHER-- was, well... at least 160 years ago or more. So, this is the big deal, ya'll. It's sort of epic, really.

You’ve been breaking ground through goals precisely made last month and making strides, therefore, professionally, thanks to your extra stamina and added ambition while Mars moved through Capricorn.
Likely you made a rather large decision, possibly even taking steps toward the details of your decision since said transition. If so, all the foundations should be already laid, stable, and ready to build from now that Mars moves in to Aquarius today; Aquarian energy is innovative and inquiring, prepare to defend your progress and be flexible in tweaking any changes that need to be made in how you navigate your goals from this point on. Otherwise, you’ll need to make these changes in the future, when Mars is moving from cardinal energy in Aries to fixed energy in Taurus on March 11th next year.
From now until December 10th, when Jupiter and Saturn are exactly sextile at 15° Libra and Sagittarius, respectively, you will see the workings of a pattern pointing toward the beginnings of something meaningful, something mature, something worth being created.
When Jupiter and Saturn work together it is possible that past lessons or mistakes become relevant in the present, as you move through a new lesson or mistake. The point, of course, is to correct a past mistake or to utilize a lesson previously learned. Or, whatever detail from your past that emerges could simply become renewed with more vitality or reintroduced with more meaning.
More than likely, something you've been chewing on for some time now will be a focus, again, possibly in some way connected to your past or from a more youthful version of yourself?, a simpler time for you?, or from before you were hard pressed with responsibilities and obligations?, and this focus can now be realized, progressed upon, or otherwise offer a tidbit of wisdom or insight for you whereas you could not even only days or weeks ago.
Either way-- whatever was hindering your way will be lifted.
As Jupiter is the planet to say "yes" while Saturn insists on "no" this transit is so often a celestial window of opportunity for you to seize the moment after being so patient for so long.
Party on, my friends.
I like to believe that thoughts are things and that if you ask, you shall receive. And I like to believe, too, that the universe conspires to give you everything you need and more if only you're willing to see opportunity through the obstacles and maintain your merriment.
And I'd like to share with you, dear reader, that today is one of those celestial opportunities for self-assertion, and asking for what you need.
Mercury, our winged god of communication, is swimming in the waters of Scorpio, out of his element and beyond his boundaries and currently making a connection to Scorpio's ruler, Pluto, the god of the underworld.
When Mercury confronts Pluto, we experience an intensity in the way we communicate or through the words we're sharing with others. For example, I was being sought after by a house fly, a healthy, stealthy house fly, just lucky to have made it indoors before the big chill of the changing seasons. I shooed it off of my hand several times, silently, to receive no reaction before I realized that this house fly may not understand what my flailing about could mean. I then tried saying aloud, "shoo fly!"
Off he went.
Your words carry weight now.
Today, what-- and more importantly, how- you communicate will transcend the ordinary.
What you learn, share, discuss, or ignore will feel heightened in importance or effectiveness, or powerfully influenced, either for good, or evil.
You can easily read too much in to something you hear or you may try to manipulate someone with your words.
You can use this energy for good, I suggest, and share how you feel for someone with that special someone or express gratitude, interest, or influence in a way that invites others to see things the way you do, as I'm attempting to do through this post.
Either way-- since this transit involves Scorpio and Pluto both- language, communication, and translation of all sorts will balance between the possible and what we tend to consider impossible. For that matter, you will abrasively learn today, nothing's impossible-- only impeccable to the hard exterior of our logical mind.
Issues that truly provoke, compel, and draw your soul-- these are the things that you'll want to talk about now.
The emotional moon is applying both Venus and Saturn in adventurous Sagittarius today, which will likely influence, for you, either a responsibility being more rewarding than usual or an obligation playing itself out with more ease than originally considered, offering a new perspective or even a new friend.
Mercury is now four degrees ahead of the sun in Scorpio: allow for another day before receiving an answer, an update, an approval or otherwise accommodation for something to move forward.
Something, indeed, is in the air today.. but you must wait.
And Mars is still trying to arm wrestle Uranus, which, you may have already learned, is not much worth your time unless you've done your homework or paid your dues. Rebelling now, especially against responsibilities or obligations, is not in your best interest.
Try to stay patient.
The month of November will offer many opportunities for expansion and forward movement as the month begins on a high note following a New Moon in Scorpio. Jupiter, our planet of joy and good fortune, squares up with Pluto the entire month, our planet of transformation and renewal, allowing for celestial opportunities for self-assertion, ambition, and intense adjustments. Whether or not you're willing change or seeking it out, change is upon you and chances are you'll be less likely to compromise anything. Even if you have been lax or lazy or lenient in your goals, possibilities for change, advancement, and altruistic intensity are all around you.
Emotional depths, if you’re willing to submerge yourself, will offer you everything that is essential to this moment in time as you know it to be. It is worth your time to go deeper; to uncover what lies below the surface. You must first be willing. You must then commit to never, never turning back once you’ve set sail, submerged yourself deeply enough that you begin to experience the inability to consciously control what you feel next or unconsciously feel genuine fears or authentic desires...

Today is sort of like a celestial opportunity in itself.
Venus and Jupiter are flirting from a distance, and when Venus and Jupiter flirt-- or do anything together, for that matter- it's noticeable.
Giving and taking will come easily today, but, more importantly-- giving will come easy for you.
This is a rather social transit, however fleeting it may be, so if there's an option to go out, be jovial with friends or strangers, dine, wine, or celebrate something-- all the better. Celebrating simply that it's the middle of the week would be appropriate now, despite anything "happening" or not.
Remember, with Jupiter, the answer is always "yes" and likely, today, whatever you agree to now will become that much more thrilling, indulging, or outgoing, so, do be mindful of what you're agreeing to.
You're focused on what's important, what needs to be done, and what's next for you as Mercury, the planet of busyness, will pass the sun this week at 3° in strategic Scorpio and Venus, the planet of both love and finances, will connect with Saturn by the end of the week at 14° Sagittarius.
With the Sun in Scorpio and Mercury in Scorpio, it'll likely be much easier to put your focus on what is essential, the real thick of any situation you find yourself needing to navigate through. Your thoughts should be probing about something, something that's been on your mind. It's time to get to the bottom of it. Use this opportunity to do just that. Allow your heart to guide you now as Venus is only a smidge up ahead...
And yes, it's true that Venus enjoys Sagittarius, but, with Saturn taking up residence here the fun and frills aren't exactly the same.
Instead of fun and frills it will be responsibilities and obligations to loved ones. A bit of a difference between what you know needs to be done and what you'd rather have fun doing. And these are the types of energies you'll be combating this week. Reassurances are much needed now, as well as relying on one another to get through the tough stuff.
You may even have to isolate yourself in order to get things going, finished, or resolved. Or, you'll notice that you'll likely be alone, anyway, even if you're not.
As I posted this weekend about the urge to talk about real issues, needs, matters-- the things we've always been told not to talk of in mixed company- these urges will be clouded by a determined seriousness through this week, due to Venus applying Saturn. In fact, it may be one of your obligations or items on your to-do list.
This may be the week you'll hear bad news or otherwise feel disappointed despite ordinarily not being so irritated by the same situation... that's Venus/Saturn for you. On a brighter note, Venus and Saturn will inspire new beginnings within longterm relationships and partnerships, allowing for ease, comfort and security if the hard work is acknowledged, accepted, and worked on in an effort to resolve.
Today, Mercury moves in to Scorpio, following closely behind the sun. What was provoked and engaged from Venus moving through so recently will be found and embraced by the sun and then questioned and assessed by Mercury. Mercury, lover of facts over feelings and busyness over reflection, turns a page when in Scorpio, digging deeper in to the facts, needing to know more about the inner workings of things and folks alike, no longer satiated by the simple facts alone, preferring now, too, to reflect upon what is learned, to process what is experienced, and to ponder what is to come.

When the sun moves through Scorpio each year from late October to mid-November, we are reminded that everything has both a beginning and an end. The time of year these months provide in the northern hemisphere is that of autumn, in the southern, spring; both seasons invite the decline of life and the birth of new life, respectively, both in an effort to procure the other, a symbiotic relationship necessary for the survival and success of everything in between. Likewise, Scorpio, and where Scorpio falls in your natal chart and celestial DNA, represents exactly this: renewal...

Today, our planet of transportation and communication and logical thought will adopt a rather illogical train of thought as it zips through an opposition with our planet of progressive, unorthodox ways, Uranus.
Be mindful of your speed when driving... zoom zoom *wink*
You'll likely have too many thoughts to process. Insights, forward-thinking, going going going, and communication breakdowns reminiscent of a retrogradation are details of this transit, except this energy will inspire a solution within any questions or an insight through any disconnected interaction.
Just as in nature, there's almost almost always a remedy to an affliction within several square feet...
Expect to be delayed, stood up, or offered rain checks when plans made are rearranged or forgotten. Being flexible and understanding is really the only opportunistic way to move through this energy. And keep in mind, it'll be gone and over quickly. I suggest having fun with it. Excitement, actually, is what will be abundantly available, and how often is it you can truly say you appreciate excitement!?
If you have to sit and do something of repeated monotony, I cannot stress enough how painful that could be for you. My apologies.
You want something. You want it badly. In fact, you may feel that you even need it... Or maybe it’s not even so much as wanting or needing something, but obsessing, unconsciously or otherwise, over something. A new way of life, a new outlook on things, a healthier routine. You’re in for a treat. But there’s a trick. The Full Moon event in Aries has exploded, within or outside of your favor now, and you’ve learned that as much as you want or need something right now, other people are involved and compromise comes as a solution... for now. As the sun continues to oppose Uranus, you are reminded that impulsivity has been known to work... but you remain reticent in making that bold, effective move just yet. Mercury continues to square Mars, and, now Mars is closer to Pluto than its been yet. Since November 10th, 2014, in fact, at 11° Capricorn. What were your goals back in the autumn of 2014? And what in the hell does Mars connecting with Pluto have anything to do with it!?
The cinematically rebellious Robert Downey Jr once said “Listen, smile, agree, and then do whatever the f*ck you were gonna do anyway.” Under what circumstances Downey said this I am not sure, however, this may feel like very good advice to you under the Full Moon in Aries on October 16, 2016. The Full Moon in Aries is connecting exactly with Uranus, our planet of rebellion and freedom, at 22°29’ Aries, and will then directly oppose the sun in lovely, smiling Libra at 23°14’ at 4:21am UT on October 16th* Impulsiveness and breaking to be free will be the theme upon this hunter’s moon, free from what will depend on where this activity falls in your chart. Either way, expect big change, likely change that is being pushed on you or forced in ways beyond your control...
Mercury, our planet of communication and everyday travel, is applying a square with Mars, our planet of aggression, movement, and action... please do not text and drive today or tomorrow.
Be mindful of your surroundings when driving, always, and today in particular.
Unfortunately, I've already been made aware of an accident caused by a young driver, texting, as well as a car being stolen. Also, phones breaking or defaulting or otherwise not working properly. Talk about a shadowed Mercury and Mars...
Despite the moon moving through dreamy Pisces, which is a rather pacifist sign, we tend to dream, fantasize, or otherwise feel invincible, so, again, please be mindful of what you're doing or what those in cars around you are doing, if at all possible.
Look for road rage, too, as Mars in Capricorn can be quite demanding.
This sort of determination could also present itself by the words that come from your mouth or from another's in an attempt to be or stay in control, show dominance, or nonchalant thoughtlessness. Words may not carry the wounds an automobile crash could however the weight intended is arguably comparable and just as unexpected.
You, or others, may be irrational, demanding, or irrationally demanding, demandingly irrational... you get the idea.
Unless Mercury, in your chart, is able to time in to a Libran balance between right and wrong, Mars may bully you in to doing what's convenient, rather, and nor necessarily right. Or, what you stand for could be bullied, especially if your stance is inconvenient for someone.
Carry on as you would, though slightly more aware than usual.
Smile at strangers, always. Take the rose-colored glasses off first.
Today Mercury connects exactly with Jupiter in Libra at 6° today and as a rule, wherever Jupiter moves in your chart is where you'll see expansion, additions, or developmental of some kind.
Or, you'll see overload or hoarding. A bombardment. Indulgence.
Libra loves excess, as Venus rules Libra and we all know Venus always wants more...
Today, as badly as you would like to delve, dip, or do more than you should in terms of spending, eating, drinking, or otherwise-- reconsider. Practicing temperance will do you well.
And because Mercury is involved, mums the word. In general.
Do not break promises, tell secrets, retell secrets, spread gossip, or confront others today. Try not to initiate conversation that requires large investment or dramatic response. In particular, if you need quiet, hushed knowledge, or sensitivity, today would not be ideal.
Again, practicing self-control now is only in your best interest.
However, you may hear or learn something that pierces your attention so dramatically, or, you'll have a keen sense about something. Either way, keep quiet about it until tomorrow.
Take the time to process the new information.
Astrology Daily: today afternoon Venus, moving through Scorpio, will make a friendly connection with Chiron, in Pisces. Both water signs, this transit would suggest deep, deep feelings and pervasive emotions felt directly down to the core of you... However, Venus is considered to be weak in strength when in Scorpio as this sign is her detriment. Chiron, the asteroid that represents the wounded healer, carefully shedding the light upon the darknesses of what needs healing, could potentially strengthen this Venus placement as she moves through your chart in real time, possibly even if this placement is natal for you.
Today and tonight-- and lingering on in to tomorrow- offer a flair; be it abnormal, extreme, taboo, or intense-- you will FEEL.
Do be curious, do ask questions, do examine your feelings.
Know that what you feel for or toward others, generally speaking, is a projection of your own psyche qualms, be they positive or negative.
A qualm is an uneasy apprehension. A pang of conscience. A compunction from regret, anxiety, eagerness, or fear.
So please, do your research. This energy will likely inspire you to delve deeper, needing to know the why's and how's, and I completely support a natural curiosity, always, and now more than ever. It is now, however, that you are more willing to see-- I mean, really see, really feel, really understand what it is you're asking, needing, seeking, or struggling with. It's so easy to make excuses, point blame, or avoid. Now is the time to solve, resolve, fix, repair, and indulge-- so you can move on.
I mean, doesn't it get kinda old having the same problems every day? I get bored with that. I appreciate a challenge. I want to grow, adapt, learn, and evolve. And I've found that I can really only do that when I trace whatever projections I play with are traced directly back to myself. A sort of process of elimination, if you will: no, it's not you-- it's me. It carries a lot of weight.
On a brighter note: whatever you begin today, be it simply turning a page, actively probing deeper in to something, or finally admitting to yourself that you're only human and whatever it is that irks you exists within you-- will carry even more weight than usual and ultimately, with time and effort and maybe some tears... lighten your load quite significantly. I promise.
You're beginning to feel it now, the static in the air, the itch at the end of your nose, the urge to do something, anything! There is a feeling in the air...
The moon is connecting with Saturn exactly at 12°02' Sagittarius, the moon representing our instincts, our behavior, and our most primal needs while Saturn represents the responsibilities we hold and obligations we honor.
When the moon connects with Saturn, as it does once a month, which is the apex of the month as it were which everything else hinges upon, your responsibilities and obligations will speak volumes and hold you up to it.
You may find that many things require your attention, or touch, and you learn quite quickly just how valuable you are. Try to be optimistic, as Saturn tends to shower a more pessimistic pee on the parade, tending to tear you down in more ways than one when the moon is involved.
Do what you need to do now and try not to let your emotions get the better of you while you do. Also, do your best to be mindful, careful and patient; it'll be easy to succumb to deleterious devolvements, risky or rash reactions, or even the tedious temper tantrum now-- be better than that. This is due to Mars, our planet of impatient movement, continuing a square with Jupiter, the planet to take credit for possessing a flair for gambling and risk.
Also, Venus makes a connection with Pluto, suggesting that any motives, manipulations, or machinations occurring now will be deeply felt and/or irrevocable. Just another reason to be mindful, patient with others and yourself, and to be kind to one another.
Mars is in Capricorn and will soon be ninety degrees to Jupiter, exact today at 5°, which is easily explained by an arm wrestling match. Imagine: Mars, all mighty and impatient, stomping his foot and offering his arm to Jupiter, older, much more mature, cultured and both overwhelmed and overflowing with charisma, accepting the challenge just for the fun of it... it's not a tense situation, with these two, unless your Mars situation or conflict is rude, angry, or throwing a tantrum. Otherwise, this could be kind of fun... What are they arm wrestling for? With these two, it could be anything, but this time-- it's you. Or, rather, a decision you must make or movement forward you must commit to. Are you avoiding doing something you know you need to do? What're you on about? What's the hold up? You have today, tomorrow, and naturally, the day after tomorrow is the day after that-- go, see, do! Make your move. And don't miss the post about the full journey of Mars through Capricorn
The sun has moved on to Libra from Virgo, Venus moved from Libra to Scorpio, and Mars is finally in Capricorn. The sun wants to highlight the Libra in you, wherever that may be, asking you to focus on that area of your life by balancing both the good and the bad, the lacking and the overflow, the sweet with the sour. The Libra in you will be presented with many opportunities to make a decision, a decision you’ll likely find difficult to make. The Scorpio energies in the air will lend a feeling of realness and reverberate a permanency while Libra and Capricorn will need to initiate-- to begin, to start, to lead the way, reluctantly eager to roll up the sleeves...
This transit is valid through the whole Autumn. Read more here...
NEW MOON IN LIBRA! Officially October 1st offers a New Moon in Libra at 8°15’ at 12:11am UT* as this event makes connections with both Mars and Saturn. Why would Mars and Saturn still be important? Because Mars just days ago moved in to Capricorn from Sagittarius, after what felt like a sentencing to Sagittarius as Saturn continues to move through the sign of the centaur until December of 2017!-- when Mars will be back around in Scorpio and we will likely once again feel much of the angst and anxiety we endured-- or are enduring- through this recent Mars/Saturn transition, working itself out since the beginning of the year.
Mars moved in to Capricorn on September 27, folks. Whoa. Mars has been in Sagittarius for what seems like forever-- through forward motion, retrogradation and the collaborative connections to Saturn, through the responsibilities of being the apex planet of a t-square, too, then alongside Saturn in an awkward fashion. Mars in Sagittarius offered spontaneous action-taking, fierceness in conviction, and a vibrant robustness... Mars in Capricorn asks for order, process, control, and focus. And most importantly: hard work....
